Multicultural Student Events

Each year, the Office of Admissions hosts a variety of events dedicated specifically to multicultural and first-generation college students. Each event offers something different and is meant to assist students at critical times during the college search process. Below you will find an overview of the event schedule. Invitations will be sent out to students via email.

Discover Cincinnati

High school sophomores will receive information about admission, financial aid, academics, and student life. We place a special focus on services designed to engage and support multicultural students. This event usually takes place toward the end of the spring semester.

Cincinnati Insider

High-achieving high school juniors and seniors are invited to shadow a current Cincinnati student and see, first-hand, what the University of Cincinnati has to offer. This event usually takes place during the fall semester.

Bearcats Bootcamp

Rising seniors are given the opportunity to get a head start on the college and university application process through a day of preparation workshops, hosted the summer before their senior year. This event usually takes place at the beginning of the school year.

Salute to Excellence

Here we celebrate admitted students for their admission to the University of Cincinnati and various academic achievements alongside influential faculty, staff, and current students. This event usually takes place during the spring semester.
