Application Writing Prompts

Students may submit a personal statement in response to the following prompt in approximately 500 words:

• What motivated you to choose your first-choice academic program? In your response, please share personal insights, interests, goals, or experiences—especially those not already included in your application.

For the purpose of your Cincinnati application, writing ability is demonstrated in your University of Cincinnati personal statement. No additional essays are required.
