Fall 2020 Next Steps
We can't wait to welcome you to campus in the fall! We know a lot is changing for you right now as a result of COVID-19. As you prepare for your first semester at UC, please follow the updated next steps below to ensure a successful start to your college career. We will update this page as new information becomes available.

Confirm your admission by June 1
We have extended the confirmation deadline from May 1 to June 1 to give you and your family time to make the best decision possible. However, those confirming admission into the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) must still do so by May 1.
If you have confirmed your admission already, you're good! If you have not confirmed your admission, follow the next steps available on our confirmation page.
Apply for financial aid
Fill out the FAFSA if you haven't done so already. You can access the FAFSA online. If you have already filled out the FAFSA, your financial aid package is available within your Catalyst account along with a detailed to-do list in the "Tasks" section on the Catalyst homepage.
Attend a Student Finances webinar or discuss your questions individually with a One Stop Student Services staff member.
Apply for housing
At this time, any students expressing interest in housing for the fall 2020 semester will be placed on a waitlist. Those on the waitlist will be offered an opportunity to apply later if rooms become available. Please note that the application will not be complete until the $150 deposit/application fee has been paid.

Register for orientation
Bearcats Bound Orientation is moving to an online format this year. The orientation experience begins with a virtual Town Hall. This is the best way to learn about the steps you should take to prepare for your first semester as a UC student.
After attending a Town Hall, students will receive additional information about registering for classes, meeting with their academic advisor, and getting to know our student orientation leaders (SOLs).

Submit final high school transcript
Admission offers are contingent upon successful completion of high school coursework. Students must submit an official, final high school transcript to verify graduation. We encourage students to submit this prior to when they enroll in courses later this summer. If a final high school transcript is not submitted by the time the fall semester begins, a student’s financial aid will not be made available and they may be removed from the courses they enrolled in.
Canceling your application
Although we want to see everyone on campus in the fall, we know that you have some great options and will be successful wherever you go!
If you have received an offer of admission but will not be attending the University of Cincinnati this fall, please log into your applicant status portal, access the Confirmation Form, and decline your offer of admission. This will only take a few minutes and helps us plan for the fall semester.
