  • The application for admission to Cincinnati can be found online. We recommend you apply to a first and a second choice.
  • You must submit the $50 application fee (non-refundable) at the end of the online application in order for your application to be submitted and final.
  • If you are applying to the University of Cincinnati after having earned an associate degree, you also may have scholarship opportunities available to you. Be sure to research these options as you are completing your admissions application.

Request your transcripts

  • If you have not submitted official college transcripts from each college you have previously attended, please send them to:
    • University of Cincinnati
      Office of Admissions
      PO Box 210091
      Cincinnati, OH 45221-0091
  • Each university will have a different policy and process for requesting that transcripts be sent to another school. Please check with your institution about their unique procedures and plan ahead!

Do we need your high school transcript?

  • We need your high school transcript if you have completed less than 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) at another university.
  • Your ACT or SAT scores are helpful and must be sent directly from the testing agency.

Transfer your financial aid

  • Add UC Title IV code 003125 to your FAFSA information.

Check your status

  • Check your status online at any time to verify that we’ve received your scores, transcripts, and see your most up-to-date application status.

Curious about how your college credit will transfer?

  • The Credit Evaluation Center evaluates how your credits translate to credit at the University of Cincinnati. While the center evaluates your overall transfer credit, the University of Cincinnati college which offers the program will determine how accepted transfer credits are applied toward degree requirements. Once we receive and review your application and process your transcript(s), we will send you a credit evaluation report to show you exactly how your credit will count at Cincinnati.
