Majors & Careers

UC Co-op Students

UC offers hundreds of undergraduate majors. If you know what you want to do, you can most likely do it here. If you are undecided, you have many choices to explore and dedicated advising services to help you find the path that's right for you.

At UC, you make a connection between learning and doing. We invented the co-op system, where students alternate semesters of paid professional work and classes. We've added more ways for you to get real world experience so you become smarter, more experienced and better prepared for a professional career.

Undecided? It's okay!

Starting college with an open mind is a good thing. UC's Center for Exploratory Studies offers personalized advising to current students and those who have confirmed their admission. The center plans workshops and experiences to help you find your ideal program of study.

College or University — What's the Difference?

University of Cincinnati degree programs are developed and administered by the faculty and staff of UC's many colleges. When you are accepted into the university, you become a member of the college that offers your major. It's a great system: The university provides you with breadth of services and activities, while your college offers intellectual depth and opportunities specific to your interests.
