International Bridge Program

New Bridge Program available for freshmen starting in the  Carl H. Lindner College of Business!

The Business Bridge program is for students whose English is below direct admission requirements, but do not need full-time, intensive English training.  Students' first year at UC is a combination of both Business classes and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.

Upon successfully completing the Bridge program, students will be fully admitted to the Business program of their choice and can finish their studies in the next 3 years.

The Bridge program follows the traditional US academic schedule and begins in September and ends in June.

Advantages to the Bridge Program

  • Qualified students can finish their Bachelor's degree in only 4 years!
  • Students can still take advantage of UC's world-renowned Co-op Program, extending their expected graduation to 5 years
  • No extra cost!  Pay the same tuition as all UC Main Campus programs.
  • Bridge students will be admitted to UC and enjoy all the benefits of the university, such as on-campus housing, access to libraries, rec center, and more!
  • Bridge students get to work with a UC adviser immediately upon beginning their studies, helping students to make sure they take the right steps to graduate on-time
  • Bridge students take courses for the business degree right away, while also taking ESL courses.

Scholarship Opportunity

Students who complete the Bridge program with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 will receive a $7,000 per year UC Global Scholarship upon entry to their bachelor’s degree program in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business.
