My hometown: Springboro, Ohio
A class that changed my life: Intro to Chemistry. I had just become a Pre-Optometry major, and this was my first Chemistry course. Within a week, I realized the subject matter was far outside the realm of my true interests, and I quickly dropped the course and began exploring what those “true interests” really were. The experience challenged me to utilize the many resources that were available to me on campus – Career Services, Academic Advising, and many more. In addition, I was able to learn more about myself and find the major that was the best fit for me!
My best college experience: I became very involved on campus right away with Greek Life, Student Government, and departmental organizations. Being a part of these organizations allowed me to grow as a person, but also as a leader, making friends from across the world! Being selected as Greek Woman of the Year my senior year was my happiest moment.
One piece of advice: Life is all about relationships. You never know how the relationships you make during this time can affect you positively in the future. So treat others with respect, get to know as many people as you can, and smile often! Philippians 4:8.
My favorite TV show/movie/song: Modern Family, Tombstone, Dixieland Delight
