A class that changed your life: The Crusades. Until I filmed a documentary of and immersed myself in an event that happened hundreds of years in the past, I never realized the passion that I had for studies in history. It's because of that class (and my professor, Dr. Amos Tubb) that I became a history major.
Favorite Quote: "And all I want now are colors. Colors don’t cry, they’re like waking up: tomorrow the colors come back." - Cesare Pavese translated by Geoffrey Brock, Agony
Best college experience: Sitting on a rooftop in Jerusalem and talking about everything and anything with a group of fellow Centre students who I barely knew before that study abroad trip (i.e "The 21st Century Breakfast Club").
One piece of advice: Take an interest in and be kind to the people that you meet. I've found that some of the best conversations that I've had in my life were with late night grocery workers and telemarketers. You never know how much taking an interest in someone may affect his/her day, or how it will affect yours.
Favorite TV show or movie: While it's not on the air anymore, The Mary Tyler Moore Show is by far my favorite television show ever. And as for my favorite movie, you just need to glance into my office to know that it's The Wizard of Oz. There's no place like home!
