Information for Admitted Students

UC students with the Bearcat mascot

Congratulations on your admission to the University of Cincinnati!

Now that you have been admitted to UC, take these important steps to complete the admissions process.

Confirming is an important step toward becoming a Bearcat. Completing your Confirmation Form enables you to apply for housing and register for Bearcat Bound Orientation. You will need your username to confirm.

The FAFSA is available on October 1 and it is important to fill it out as soon as possible. If you have not done so yet, make this a priority! Because some aid programs are awarded on a first-come first-serve basis, an early application receives priority consideration for the limited funding. Click HERE to learn more about financial aid.

3. Apply for Housing

(Application will be made available during the spring semester. The priority deadline is usually in early May.)

For students who are required (permanent residence is greater than 50 miles from Uptown campus) to live on campus their first year or those choosing to live on campus, you’ll need to apply for housing using the Housing and Food Services Website.

4. Register for Orientation

(Registration begins in April)

Bearcats Bound Orientation is designed to assist you in making a successful academic and social transition into the University of Cincinnati community. During Orientation, you will also meet with an academic advisor and register for classes.

Note: Students must confirm their admission prior to registering for Orientation and Housing.
